Go to "Puyuan time" to see boutique women's center to stroll

The 2009 China Puyuan International Wool Knitwear & Apparel Fair, themed "Innovation, Cooperation, and Win-Win," took place in Puyuan, Tongxiang, from November 7th to 8th. Organized under the banner of the Mao Fair, the event aimed to showcase Puyuan's new image, expand investment channels, and foster a mutually beneficial business environment. Industry insiders view the Mao Fair as a crucial platform for setting trends in China's wool knitwear sector, where fashion and innovation converge. On the morning of November 7th, the "Puyuan Time" exhibition center officially opened. The center features five exhibition halls, with three of them arranged chronologically: "Puyuan Past Time," "Puyuan Present Time," and "Puyuan Future Time." These spaces guide visitors through Puyuan's rich history, from its founding in 1128, through its rise as one of Jiangnan's five major towns, to its current status as a national sweater distribution hub. The exhibition highlights both past achievements and future development strategies. Also launched during the fair was the 320 Creative Square, which opened the Puyuan Plaza 320 Creative Park. At the opening ceremony, Puyuan signed strategic cooperation agreements with 11 universities and research institutions. This initiative is expected to attract high-end service industries such as fashion design, brand planning, and software development, marking a shift for Puyuan's sweater industry from manufacturing to creative production. On November 8th, the Puyuan Investment Seminar saw the signing of nine projects, including three foreign-funded ventures totaling $37.56 million and six domestic projects amounting to 488 million yuan. Meanwhile, the Puyuan Couture Boutique Women’s Center was unveiled during the fair. Designed as China’s first women’s trading base, it spans 50,000 square meters and includes boutique shops across four floors, with a fifth floor dedicated to modern international trade infrastructure. Additionally, the Puyuan Children's Wear Market held a groundbreaking ceremony as part of the fair’s expansion. As Puyuan’s sweater market continues to upgrade, the focus remains on transformation and sustainable growth. In response to evolving market conditions, the 2009 China Textile and Apparel Market Roundtable brought together leaders from 13 major clothing markets, including Puyuan, Shishi Garment City, and Changshu Clothing City. Experts discussed current challenges and future directions, emphasizing that collaboration is key to achieving mutual success. As Puyuan continues to evolve, its commitment to innovation and cooperation sets a strong foundation for long-term growth and global recognition.
