Estimated 2010/11 cotton planting area in the United States is 10.97 million acres
According to a January 12 news report from Washington, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) 3 released a January supply and demand report showing that the United States' cotton acreage for 2010/11 is estimated at 10.97 million acres, which was estimated at 11.04 million acres in December.
