However, the Low-E energy-saving glass with the same performance is not easy to promote in residential buildings, although the energy-saving indicators for residential buildings in some areas have increased by more than 30%.

For example, German laws and building energy-saving regulations have clearly defined the various parts of the building envelope, and how much U value should be reached. If the heat transfer coefficient of the whole window cannot be higher than 1.3, the heat transfer coefficient of the glass cannot be higher than 1.1. Therefore, the popularity of Low-E glass in Germany is very high.
