It is proved whether to use EVA film or PVB film (to prevent the profiter from shoddy, but use EVA film to lie to consumers to use PVB film). If PVB film is used, the PVB brand certificate should be requested to judge whether it can be applied. Curtain wall glass and laminated glass for outdoor applications generally do not use EVA film as an intermediate film, because EVA is very prone to yellowing and delamination under the conditions of sun exposure or high temperature and high humidity; and because EVA has poor congenital viscosity, it leads to The safety index of the laminated glass finished product is lower than that of the impact strength, so it is generally abandoned by the curtain wall industry.
c. Consumers can choose to use the corresponding glass panels according to the requirements of glass functionality in the application field. For example, tempered glass should be selected as the dimming glass panel for public buildings and bathrooms with high safety factor requirements, outdoor curtain wall applications, etc. Customers with high fire protection requirements can use fire-resistant glass for panels, and use curved glass for panels where bending is required.
d. If the dimming glass needs to be hollowed out and fixed, you should ask the manufacturer to see if you can dig the hole. Because most manufacturers or new manufacturers can't meet the requirements, so please ask if there is any correlation. Experience can be done to avoid unnecessary troubles and losses.
e. The technical strength can be judged according to the width of the glass that the manufacturer can provide. The production of dimming glass film is a technical and difficult task. The larger the size, the harder it is to produce. Therefore, many domestic manufacturers require some splicing of some orders whose width exceeds the larger size of their dimming film. As we all know, for dimming glass, if you use multiple narrow splicing of glass, it is visually ugly. For example, if you can choose a width of 1.4m, don't use two 70cm glass to splicing. It is easy to affect the visual aesthetics and its practicability (when applying the projection wall, when multiple pieces of glass are spliced, it is easy to have many seams in the middle, and the look is not good.). At present, the world's larger size dimming glass can achieve 1500mmx3300mm.
f. In addition to the size, light transmittance, privacy protection performance, intermediate layer materials and other indicators, the most important one to measure the technical content of the dimming glass and the purchase standard is to look at the voltage of the dimming glass. Generally speaking, the more you should choose The lower the voltage, the better the safety during the user's use. The lower voltage on the market can now be 12VAC or 24VAC. In addition, it must be emphasized that BUSBAR (electrode copper foil strip) must be laminated in the glass to ensure no leakage, so as to ensure the safety of the user during use, especially for the dimming glass in the bathroom field. This is especially important because the bathroom environment is usually high humidity and high temperature. If the BUSBAR is exposed, it is easy to leak or short circuit, which will seriously affect the service life of the dimming glass. In particular, for some low-end brands on the market, products with a voltage above 100VAC should pay more attention to this point, because 100VAC has far exceeded the range of safe voltage values. In case of leakage, the consequences are very serious and personal safety is not guaranteed.
3, look at the quality of the dimming film - the quality of the dimming film is one of the more important factors in determining the quality of the finished dimming glass.
