Brands such as Gucci, Fendi and Stella McCartney recently launched high-end children's wear collections. Children's wear will be a stable product line for these luxury companies. This is yet another advancement for high-end fashion brands.

This sensible business decision will have great significance: children's clothing needs to be changed frequently, and the children grow fast. Therefore, as long as there are children in the family, then there is a demand for children's clothing as always. And parents are more likely to be persuaded to buy high-quality children's clothing.

According to research conducted by the Datamonitor Group, an industry research institute, the situation of children's fashion in Europe is better than other types of fashion.

Even during the financial crisis, parents will not be deterred by their own children. Once the economy has improved, the money is first poured into the children's market. Therefore, high-end apparel companies want to separate children's clothes into a product line.

Some brands of children wear "little adults" style. Paul Smith launched a children's size floral shirt, Jean Paul Gaultier's small windbreaker, and Missoni's colorful little sweater.

Frida Giannini, creative director of Gucci, said that at the beginning, she was a bit worried because Gucci's usual sexy style may not be able to ride children's clothes, but now they have also found a solution. Their children's clothing is loaded with bamboo and horses as a source of inspiration. Clothes also include shoes, accessories, sunglasses, and more.

Compared to other brands’ business motives, Silvia Fendi and Stella McCartney’s move into the children’s wear market is more personal. Silvia Fendi and the Italian company Simonetta launched the children's wear collection. Because Silvia Fendi already had a lovely little granddaughter, she was very interested in children's wear.

Stella McCartney has been pregnant for the fourth time, and has previously partnered with GAP twice to launch a children's wear collection. Next month, she has her own independent children's wear line.
