New Spinning Technology--Soft-spinning Technology Focuses on the Industry
Recently, the 16th National New Spinning Yarn Academic Exchange Meeting hosted by the China Textile Engineering Society New Spinning Professional Committee, Shanxi Jinzhong Renhe Textile Machinery Bearing Co., Ltd. and Jingwei Hengxin Machinery Co., Ltd. was held in Jinzhong. Â
At the meeting, Prof. Xu Weilin of Wuhan Textile University introduced the new spinning technology developed by the university, the soft-spinning process, which aroused widespread concern of delegates. It is reported that Wuhan Textile University has signed a cooperation agreement with Jingwei Textile Co., Ltd., and will soon put into production and expand the scope of application of the technology on the basis of further improving the soft-spinning technology and equipment. Â
It is understood that since the first session of the National New Spinning Academic Exchange Conference in 1979, various types of new types of spinning, such as rotor spinning, air-jet spinning, spinning spinning and compact spinning, have been collected from the cotton, linen, wool and silk spinning industries. There are nearly 1,000 papers on process technology, equipment and product development, and nearly 800 articles have been published. Through academic exchanges, the conference played a role in promoting the promotion of spinning technology and the exchange of new technologies in China. Â
In 2011, the total domestic textile fiber processing volume reached 43.1 million tons, an increase of 4.36% over the same period last year. In the first quarter of this year, the yarn output of the whole industry was 7.167 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. A number of new-type spinning technologies have been applied and promoted, such as compact spinning, compound spinning, siro spinning, embedded spinning, etc. The conventional spinning technology and equipment are in a rapid development trend. Taking rotor spinning as an example, after 30 years of development, the number of rotor spinning in China has grown from less than 50,000 in 1981 to nearly 3 million currently, accounting for approximately 37.5% of the world's total rotor spinning equipment. However, as a whole, there is still a gap between the equipment and technological level of China's spinning technology and the world's advanced spinning technology. The "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" of the textile industry points out that by the end of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", 20 million spindles of cotton spinning should be compacted; and the proportion of new wool spinning technologies such as composite spinning, siro spinning and embedded spinning should reach more than 60%. In the face of this new demand, cotton spinning, wool spinning and other industries are engaged in technical exchange seminars for new types of yarns, and it is particularly necessary to constantly improve the level of new yarn technology and equipment.
